"Depending on product formulation and how it is packaged, most toners, mists, serums, eye creams, and face masks (including sheet masks) are the most suitable products to be kept in a skincare fridge," Akram notes.

Some products shouldn't be stored in the fridge, however, as to not alter the texture. "Keep in mind most cream-based products with more dense formulations including serums, moisturizers and masks should not be chilled. This makes it more difficult to apply the product onto the skin. Oil-based products are also not suitable for the fridge as they can also harden," the esthetician adds.
