And what better merchandise for the ageing Britpop fan than a cup of tea? Or a box of tea if we’re being pedantic.
The selling point is the packaging, with a caddy also available in limited numbers should you really want to go for it. But let’s not downplay the tea. A lot of us love a good cup of tea in the morning, and I suspect this will be that very thing. Experts make it. People who spend their lives producing and perfecting tea.
It is described as single-origin black tea ‘for your everyday brew’. Full-bodied and bold, it’s a brew to get you in the mood for attacking a Monday morning. Splash of milk, sugar to taste, and you are away.
The special edition Pulp lyric box contains 20 individually sealed sachets (50g). Each string & tag tea bag is folded and stitched, plastic-free and staple-free. There’s also a special edition tea tag featuring lyrics from Pulp songs hand-picked by JC.
Each box costs £4.50, and if you want the travel tea caddy too, that’s even more limited and selling for £6.
